My dad scribbles passwords on little pieces of paper and shoves them in a drawer. Except he often doesn’t remember which drawer, or if indeed it was a drawer he put it in.
My mom is a little better. She has a file system. But there are many files. And many papers in a file. To find the password for that theme park app that you had to redownload because that is the only way you will get a 5 percent discount on your next visit, you have to go through 2 files named “Recreation.” But no guarantee it will be there, because you may have stored it under “Other.”
